Health Insurance

All UK employees may opt in to health insurance provided by WPA which can pay for private consultations and hospital treatment (see details of cover). You can opt in or out at any time by emailing benefits@thoughtbot.com. thoughtbot pays for the insurance, but team members are responsible for the tax on it (the value of the insurance is deducted from your tax-free personal allowance). Insurance covers the employee and optionally their families.

In addition to medical, dental and optical cover WPA also provides a number of additional perks such as gym memberships, optical discounts, food discounts and employee assistance programs via their Health and Wellbeing Hub.
