We pay 50% of all expenses for job-related conferences. If you’re speaking at the conference, we’ll pay 100% of the expenses.
Attending a conference is working time, not paid time off, and does not reduce your vacation time.
In addition, in order to qualify for this benefit, the event must
- Have a Code of Conduct or Anti-harassment Policy and a plan to enforce it.
- Feature a speaker line-up that represents our entire community, especially Black women, nonbinary, and indigenous speakers.
If you find an event that does not meet these criteria, reach out to the event organizers to encourage them to make a change so that our benefit can apply to the event.
